Hypalon is a top tier product, there is a big range of colour options. PVC and TPU tubes have welded seams, whereas Hypalon is glued.
This is very unlikely and if you net your fish, which is best practice, you wont ever get a spine in the tube, plus you wont loose your fish by breaking the leader. You need to be careful when releasing small undersized snapper as the spines are super sharp.
Our tubes have 5-7 chambers depending on the size of boat, and even when all chambers are deflated our boats are buoyant.
10+ years, however like anything, if looked after (kept in garage or under a cover) and regularly cleaned you could expect your tubes to last as long as 20+ years.
Fibreglass or composite construction doesn’t need to compromise on hull shape, as you aren’t trying to bend a flat sheet into a shape. Fibreglass is very strong and light weight using modern fibres and foam core
