What is the difference between PVC, TPU, and Hypalon tubes?

PVC is the most cost effective option, TPU is thicker material and is more sun resistant than PVC, however they hold similar properties. There is a limited colour range also.
Hypalon is a top tier product, there is a big range of colour options. PVC and TPU tubes have welded seams, whereas Hypalon is glued.

Will I put a hook through my tubes?

This is very unlikely and if you net your fish, which is best practice, you wont ever get a spine in the tube, plus you wont loose your fish by breaking the leader. You need to be careful when releasing small undersized snapper as the spines are super sharp.

Our tubes have 5-7 chambers depending on the size of boat, and even when all chambers are deflated our boats are buoyant.

How long do the tubes last?

10+ years, however like anything, if looked after (kept in garage or under a cover) and regularly cleaned you could expect your tubes to last as long as 20+ years.

Aluminium VS. Fibreglass, why?
